Imagine overcoming insurmountable obstacles like Jennifer Lopez did when she portrayed Slim Hiller in the Sony picture “Enough’ or like Julia Roberts when she portrayed Laura Burney in the 20th Century Fox picture “Sleeping With The Enemy’. It’s time to celebrate brave & courageous women in style for Standing In Their Power. You and your guests are invited to an elegant luncheon.

Wow…what a great organization. Where were you when I needed you when I was abused by my ex husband (now) who was a police officer. I also worked for law enforcement and lost my job due to all the domestic situations. He kept his. I have been living in poverty ever since trying to sustain a job. I am in the process of obtaining my ba degree with only 47 credits to go and now losing the job I loved for the past three years. I am a hard worker and for some reason I end up with a boss who was abusive to his workers and i reported it. I was transferred and now going to be laid off due to reorganizing the job classification. They encouraged me not to apply. I did not qualify.

    I feel like crying…
